But today’s article gives tips on how you can keep close to your diet while eating out. Here’s one tip, “portion control is very important when dining out for lunch or dinner. Restaurant portions tend to be two or three times bigger than the portion sizes eaten at home. Ask for a lunch-sized portion, if available, because they tend to be smaller. Another idea is to split an entrée with someone you’re dining out with or even put some of your meal aside to take home.
