Primary health care may be coming to a Walmart near you. As you probably know, you can buy practically anything, (including organic food) at Walmart nowadays, now the giant retailer wants to dabble in health care. So far Walmart has opened six primary care service centers with six more scheduled to open by the end of the year. “With its vast rural footprint, Walmart is positioning its primary care clinics in areas where doctors are scarce, and where medical care, with or without insurance, can be prohibitively expensive.
